Fall Into Fun at Wendell Falls
Crisp mornings, colorful leaves and spooky season are right around the corner! From adventures close to home to track-out camps and Halloween festivities, there are plenty of ways to make the most of the season.
Autumn Fun Close to Home
You don’t have to travel far to soak up the season. Wendell Falls has more than 10 miles of trails perfect for a fall walk, run or bike ride. Spend an afternoon of exploring Lunar Landing or Peak Playground, while Shindig Park offers plenty of space to unwind with neighbors as the temperatures cool down.
And when you’re ready for a break, stop by the Farmhouse Café or explore the restaurants and shops at Treelight Square. Fall days are even better when some of your favorite spots are right around the corner!
Track Out, Fun In
School may be out for some local students, but the fun doesn’t have to stop! Local track-out camps geared to school breaks give kids a chance to stay active and entertained while they're away from the classroom.
Right here in Wendell, The Athletic Zone offers track-out camps filled with games, arts and crafts and a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Tap It Social House also offers a track-out program featuring arcade games, creative activities and special community experiences. Fall Events in Wendell
Mark your calendar for two seasonal Wendell faves! The Wendell Harvest Festival returns October 3 with seasonal fun, food and activities for the community. The Parade of Homes runs October 3–4, 9–11 and 16–18, giving you a chance to tour new homes and check out the latest in local homebuilding. This year, Wendell Falls is opening the doors to three Parade homes, six model homes and plenty of quick move-in homes, too.
Spoooooooky Season
Ready for a little Halloween fun? The Town of Wendell's Halloween Treat Trail gives the community another way to celebrate spooky season close to home. And for those who love transforming their homes for the holidays, keep an eye out for the town's Holiday Decorating Contest.
