Fun Fall Festivities
Fall is in full swing here at Wendell Falls! With crisp evenings, pumpkins ready for harvest and Halloween approaching, here are 8 community events coming up to celebrate the spooky season. Happy fall, y’all!
National Night Out, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.
Open to public
Join the Wendell Police Department and Wendell Fire Department for an evening of community fun! Enjoy tasty bites from food trucks, live music and special activities for all ages. Don’t miss this chance to connect with neighbors and celebrate the Wendell spirit!
Myatt Pumpkin Giveaway, Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m.
Residents only
You get a pumpkin, you get a pumpkin, everyone gets a pumpkin at the Wendell Falls pumpkin giveaway, hosted in partnership with Myatt Landscaping! It’s as easy as rolling up to the Grove and selecting one large pumpkin per family to bring home, decorate and display.
Cinema Under the Stars, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Open to public
Wrangle up the entire clan and BYO lawn chairs and blankets to view and get bewitched by Hocus Pocus under the evening sky. It’s going to be a frightfully fun night for the whole family!
Halloween Treat Trail, Oct. 24 at Wendell Park
Open to public
Bring your kiddos to the Wendell Halloween Treat Trail for a night of candy, costumes and community fun! This non-scary event is perfect for kids 12 and under, with treats along the trail and food trucks for the whole family to enjoy. See you at Wendell Park for the free festivities!
Annual Trick or Trot 5K, Oct, 25 at 9 a.m.
Open to public
Resident fee: $30; guest fee:$35
Get ready to trick, trot and treat yourself at the Wendell Falls Trick or Trot 5k! Lace up for a fun run (costumes encouraged!) complete with delicious post-race bites from the Farmhouse Cafe. Run on over, because nothing says “spooktacular” like a jog with your favorite ghouls and goblins!
Halloween Golf Cart Parade, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.

Keep the festivities moving with the annual favorite Halloween Golf Cart Parade, showcasing our communities’ creatively and spookily decorated golf carts—or other wheeled apparatuses!—making their way to say boo around the neighborhood.
Groove at the Grove, Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m.

Live tunes, food truck fare and games for the young and young-at-heart? It’s sure to be a grooving good time on Halloween eve for folks of all ages.
Fall Festival, Nov. 1 at noon
Residents only
Shake off your Halloween candy coma by welcoming a lineup of local vendors peddling handmade and artisan products, along with a few food trucks to fuel your wandering and shopping—plus live music and festive activities to round out the afternoon.
