Poolside Reads
Craving some fun in the sun this summer? You’re in luck: Wendell Falls’ pair of pools, one by the Farmhouse and Phase 10’s Perch Pool & Playground, are now open! See here for specific hours and pool rules.
The Farmhouse pool offers a central location with saltwater and zero-entry access, along with a waterslide, lounge area, kids’ splash zone and dedicated lap lanes. The Perch Pool showcases a range of depth from a shallow-water section for the little ones to play to a five-foot deep end—not to mention a cabana and grilling stations.
With these two pools open for Wendell Falls’ residents to enjoy, it’s also prime time for our community’s bookworms to bring their pages poolside and bask in the sunlight. Keep reading for four of our summertime book recommendations.
Pro tip: For those searching for a free find to add to their reading list, the Wendell Community Library along with Wendell Falls’ free little library by the Farmhouse are great places to look too.
