Culver’s is coming to Wendell Falls
Treelight Square will soon be the home to a new Culver’s location!
Erik and Barb Neudecker grew up in Wisconsin, where Culver’s was the local delight. Eleven years ago, they migrated from the Midwest to Raleigh and decided to introduce the central part of North Carolina to their childhood delicacy. In 2017, Erik and Barb opened their first Culver’s store in Wake Forest, soon followed by a second location in Clayton and are now excited to introduce a third storefront to Wendell Falls.
“As one of the newer and growing communities on the Eastern side of the Triangle, Wendell Falls was the perfect place for us to open our third location,” said Erik. “We look forward to meeting the community and introducing them to our Wisconsin roots.”
Culver’s was originally launched in 1984 in Sauk City, Wisconsin, by Craig and Lea Culver. Today, the expanding franchise system now has more than 950 family-owned and operated restaurants in 26 states.
Culver’s has an expansive menu with a variety of signature items, including burgers, fried chicken and fish, frozen custard, and sides including fried cheese curds.
“Many of our guests travel to us for cheese curds. We pride ourselves in the fact that we offer items you can’t find at typical quick-service locations and that each item is made-to-order and fresh,” said Barb.
The Wisconsin chain’s menu remains consistent across locations and is best known for its ButterBurgers® and Frozen Custard. Culver’s ButterBurgers are made with fresh, never-frozen beef and topped with a lightly buttered, toasted bun. Guests can choose from a range of burger variations.
Culvers’ Frozen Custard is another fan favorite and can be served up in a cake cone, waffle cone or dish. Each Culver’s location has a Frozen Custard “Flavor of the Day” available to guests. The Wendell Falls Culver’s location is expected to open in early 2025.
