GoTriangle Bus Service Expanding to Wendell Falls
GoTriangle recently announced that beginning in November 2025, they will alter the existing ZWX (Raleigh-Zebulon) bus route to serve Wendell Falls in both directions with two new stops. If you didn’t know already, GoTriangle is the primary provider of bus routes between Wake, Durham, and Orange counties. GoTriangle’s motto is “connecting all points of the Triangle” and they are steadily working to increase services to more prime destinations, and now that will also include Wendell Falls!
One stop will be located at Wendell Falls Parkway & Taylor Road, near the Publix, and the other will be located at Wendell Falls & Martin Pond Road, near the Neuse River Veterinary Hospital. This means that as a resident of Wendell Falls, you’ll have direct bus connections to Downtown Raleigh, WakeMed Hospital (New Bern Ave.), Downtown Wendell, Downtown Zebulon, as well as a few other stops around Downtown Raleigh and Zebulon.
This new service will also end at the brand new Raleigh Union Station Bus Terminal that is expected to open for service in August 2025, meaning you will have the opportunity to transfer to other bus routes or hop onboard an Amtrak train at Raleigh’s Union Station.
In addition to redirecting this existing bus route to service Wendell Falls and provide direct access to other modes of transportation around Raleigh & beyond, GoTriangle will also provide all-day service for this route on weekdays from 6am until 9pm.
So, what are you waiting for? Live in a community with friendly neighbors, amazing amenities, and very soon, a direct public transit connection to Downtown Raleigh!
