The Parade of Homes at Wendell Falls 2023

It’s almost time for the 2023  Triangle Parade of Homes! Parade of Homes is an annual free, self-guided tour where you can view the newest homes across Raleigh, Durham, Orange and Chatham counties.

At this year’s  Parade of Homes, which will be on weekends September 30 – October 15 from 12 – 5 p.m., Wendell Falls is showcasing six homes crafted by some of the best builders around.

Misty Morn’ by Homes by Dickerson:

Misty Morn’ was heavily influenced by the colors and textures of the Western North Carolina Mountains and the surrounding creeks and rivers.

“We wanted to find a way to bring that feeling to the Triangle while remaining modern yet quirky with some of the features, patterns and textures you’d find in the mountains,” said Susan Falcone, designer at Homes by Dickerson. “The hope is that whoever ends up calling this house their home can feel as relaxed as they do at a mountain retreat.”

The stair detail in this home sets the tone right when you walk in the door, summarizes the overall vibe of the house, and makes this home stand apart from others! The colors and patterns and wood tones go together so cohesively and give the relaxed, modern vibe.

Arrowspring by Encore by David Weekley:

The Arrowspring home plan is elegant and exquisite, with open dining and living areas that make for delightful meals and evenings together. This parade home features a brand-new option: a luxury guest suite, which combines bedrooms two and three to create an even larger suite with ensuite bathroom and super shower! The center island in the kitchen is perfect for hosting memorable holiday feasts, and the sunlit expansive study is a great additional gathering space or home office. The Arrowspring home plan also features a curated design package with neutral tones and upgraded appliances with EnergySaver™ innovations.

Declan by Brookfield Residential:

The Declan is an elevated arts + crafts home design offering a comfortable layout for everyday living. The kitchen, which boasts an island, pantry, and plenty of cabinets, opens to the dining and great room, then expands to the screened porch. A mud room and connected drop zone are located off the 2-car garage for ultimate convenience. The main-level primary bedroom includes two closets, dual sinks, and a shower.

Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms, a loft, a full bath, and additional unfinished storage areas. This space can also be updated to include a fourth bedroom with full bath.

Hollywood Regency by Homes by Dickerson:

This home plan features a modern take on vintage Hollywood glam with fun pops of color. Throughout the home, you will find glamorous light selections, custom cabinetry, and geometric motifs. An exciting study and the waterfall island in the kitchen are also notable features of the Hollywood Regency plan. This plan is NGBS and Energy-Star Certified.

Bladen by McNeill Burbank:

The Bladen by McNeill Burbank is a midcentury modern-inspired space layered in sophistication. The home plan features timeless architectural interior and exterior details, including white oak hardwood floors, luxury quartz countertops, custom wood paneling, trim details throughout, designer light fixtures and luxury hardware and fixture finishes.

“When it came to this home plan, I wanted to create a space that felt like a genuine representation of a mid-century property in Palm Springs,” said Grant Do, marketing manager at McNeill Burbank. “There are subtle pops of color, art deco/retro/glam fixtures, luxury finishes and a lot of art by Slim Aarons, who was a major inspiration for this space as he captured the essence of high society.”

Paper by Fresh Paint by Garman Homes:

The Paper is one of the most popular plans, offering an open expanse on the first floor anchored by a well-appointed kitchen with space for everyone at the oversized island. Upstairs, a primary suite is generously sized for rest, reflection, and relaxation.

The Wendell Falls experience

There’s also a ton of other new things to explore in our creatively created community, such as new models, new businesses open in Treelight Square, a brand-new splash pad, pigs with wings and a bunch of ready-for-you inventory homes.
