Downtown Raleigh restaurant ready to make Wendell debut
A downtown Raleigh restaurant known for its brunch offerings is opening a new location in a rapidly growing eastern Wake County town.
Parkside Restaurant, located in Raleigh’s Warehouse District, is bringing its fare to Wendell. The new spot, located in Wendell Falls, marks the first expansion for the restaurant that serves classic American dishes.
Owners Jenessa Mitchell and Todd Henderson opened the Raleigh restaurant in 2016 at the corner of West Martin and South Dawson streets. Its name comes from its proximity to Nash Square, one of downtown Raleigh’s four original parks. The Wendell location will carry the same Parkside name along with a very similar menu.
