The Pigs at Wendell Falls

Hundreds of happy families call Wendell Falls home, but our newest residents aren’t exactly who you’d expect. A party of delightful pig sculptures — including one giant flying pig named Dell — can now be found in Model Row.
The Pigs at Wendell Falls represent all of the creative, artistic, entrepreneurial and all-around inspiring residents we have here at Wendell Falls. They’re a bit unexpected … but so is our community. Dell the flying pig also represents the importance of chasing seemingly impossible dreams, from starting a small business to homeownership. Because, believe it or not, Wendell Falls was an impossible dream once, too.

These delightful pigs would be tickled pink if you came to see them at Model Row — especially for a picture or two. (Careful, they love to hog the camera.)  Be sure to tag them with @DellThePig so we can see!

Making magic at Treelight Square

Not everyone believed we could create a retail and dining destination within Wendell Falls. (“When pigs fly,” said the naysayers.) However, today you’ll find national retailers (like Publix) and everyday conveniences — with plenty more (like local eats and boutiques) coming soon. Guess you could say the pig is flying … which makes Dell the flying pig a perfect mascot.
