Let's do it

Inspiring bold ideas. Moving humanity forward.

The Research Triangle Park’s founders imagined a place where businesses, government, and universities would come together and invent the future. This was an opportunity to provide meaningful jobs and improve access to education to all North Carolinians.

The Research Triangle is now home to numerous high-tech companies and enterprises, and the Wendell Falls™ community is a dynamic part of that future. With direct access to Downtown Raleigh and beyond via the completed I-495 and Wendell Falls Parkway, residents of Wendell Falls are just 35 miles from the largest research park in the country, which encompasses the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.

Raleigh

Known as the "City of Oaks," Raleigh is home to North Carolina State University and is part of the Research Triangle. When you're looking for the excitement and attractions of a great city, combined with the appeal of a classic Southern town, look no further than Raleigh. Best known for its world-class museums, best-of-Broadway shows and live concerts, historic sites, sporting events, and its shopping mecca status, Raleigh offers a variety of entertainment, all in one park-like, scenic setting. And be sure to take in the area's newfound culinary creativity at one of 1,300 Greater Raleigh restaurants.

The area is also well known for its craft breweries. Numerous local hotspots are dedicated to the craft so you can stay true to your brews while in the capital city.

Discover Raleigh's unique shopping opportunities, including three major shopping malls plus an abundance of galleries, antique shops and specialty boutiques, where funky merchandise and unexpected treasures abound.

The Arts

The Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Raleigh features three theater venues and serves as the home for the North Carolina Symphony. Museums in Raleigh include the North Carolina Museum of Art in West Raleigh, as well as the North Carolina Museum of History and North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, located next to each other near the State Capitol in Downtown Raleigh.
